I really hadn’t considered what kind of layout I wanted. Choosing an “industry” to model, just wasn’t something I had that much knowledge or interest in. So I figured I’d start with something that I was familiar with.
The first railcars in my livery, are a set of Chicago Metra Commuter Passenger cars. I’ve traveled on these things numerous times, so it’s sort of nostalgic for me.
This is an EMD (Electro Motive Diesel) F40PH Chicago Metra #183 Village of Itasca, which will be pulling the cars above ↑.
Itasca is just hop and skip (no jump necessary), away from where I basically grew up, Schaumburg (when it was still mostly corn fields).
